FULL DAY -Orosolo: the Heart of Sardinia
In the heart of the most ancient Sardinia we find the small town of Orgosolo, famous all over the world for its numerous wall paintings.
After our arrival in Orgosolo we will start visiting the fantastic open air art gallery, where the beautiful "murales" (wall paintings) show us diverse themes like: the banditry, the love for the family, the war, the pollution and many others. After an amazing guided tour through Orgosolo and its Murales we can spend our time relaxing in a café or walking in the small streets of the downtown. If you want to try typical recipies you can reach the shepherds' huts for the typical lunch with roasted pork, typical cheeses and sweets. And after lunch under hundred years old oaks, the shepherds will amuse us with songs and dances of their ancient culture. It is also possible to visit in Nuoro the most interesting Sardinian museum about costumes, lives and old traditions.
